CANCELLED DUE TO UNSAFE SITE CONDITIONS

The Hunter Recovery Celebrations are aiming for Third Time Lucky - this weekend and due to the recent rain the event that was due to be held on Saturday and Sunday will only be held on Sunday this weekend.
" We are starting think that we are jinxed " said Kathie Heyman - coordinator . " we are hoping that we can start up the BBQ's cook the 4000 snags and encourage people to enjoy a great Fathers Day at Blackbutt's ;Ritchley Reserve and Blackduck Reserve including Jumping Castles, Circus Workshops, Displays from the SES and Fire Brigade as well as the much loved Wildlife Encounters and Tree Planting.
We are encouraging people to not pack a picnic lunch ... and have lunch with us with Snags and Drinks at $1 and coffee , cake ,fairly floss and sno cones available for purchase..
Let the kids run free give dad ( and mum ) a day off and celebrate the recovery of the Hunter and Blackbutt from the June 2007 storms - this Fathers Day Sunday 7th September 10am - 3.30pm

There will be $1 snags ; $1 drinks available on Sunday until sold out, all sales of food and drinks on the day will go to the refurbishment of Blackbutt Reserve..
